Staffing Policies
As a North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) Maintained Nursery School, the Governing Body has adopted the entire NNC Human Resources Handbook containing policies and procedures for the management of staff which have been negotiated and agreed with recognised trade unions. These policies are not included on this website but include policies relating to all aspects of HR issues including Whistleblowing, Recruitment and Selection, Equality and Diversity, Pay, Grading and Allowances, Working Hours & Leave, Employee Obligations, Sickness & Absence, Performance Management, Discipline & Grievance, Redundancy and Redeployment, Trade Unions and Health and Safety.
Uniform Policy
The school does not have a uniform or a uniform policy. Parents are asked to dress their child in clothes which are suitable for the weather conditions and for messy play. Your children will get dirty; they will get water, paint, glitter, glue etc on themselves so please do not put them in expensive clothes. We ask that you keep a change of clothing in their peg bag for emergencies.
Please make sure your child can easily take the clothing on and off - especially if they are toilet training. We do ask that all clothes have your child's name clearly marked inside them, including footwear. Open toed sandals are not recommended in the summer incase your child catches their foot whilst climbing on the play equipment.
