If your child turns three during the Autumn Term and is not eligible for 2 year old funding we can offer you up to 15 hours per week childcare at a discounted rate of £4.00 per hour.

Two Year Old Funding

Where children have been adopted from care, where parents are on a low income and are in receipt of certain benefits or where parents are working (earning the equivalent of 16 hours at minimum wage), you may be entitled to a funded place from the term after your child’s 2^nd birthday. Extended Childcare for Three and Four Year Olds

All children are entitled to 570 hours per year (15 hours per week for 38 weeks) childcare from the term after their third birthday. At Ronald Tree we can offer up to 42.5 hours per week for working parents (8am to 4.30pm), and we accept 30 hour funding and tax free childcare payments.

Where a single parent earns the equivalent of 16 hours at the minimum wage, or where both co-habiting parents earn this amount they are entitled to 30 hours free childcare each week for children from the term after their third birthday. To check your eligibility please click here.

You can access your 30 hours in a number of ways at Ronald Tree Nursery School.

4 days 8am to 3.30pm (please specify days required) 4 days 8.30am to 4.00pm (please specify days required) 5 days 8.30am to 3.30pm. This is 35 hours per week and will result in an additional charge of £27.50 per week.

You can pay for additional hours eg breakfast club 8am to 8.30 or afterschool 3.30 to either 4pm or 4.30pm but the maximum childcare we can offer is 8am to 4.30pm.
